Domes may be a perfect radius or imperfect radius. Perfect radius means the height and projection are half of the width. For example a 6′ wide dome is 3′ wide and 3′ projection. Imperfect radius means the height, projection and width are determined by aesthetic needs and available space. Domes can be called many different names depending on where in the country you are from, and are sometimes referred to as half-round or bull nose awnings depending on the shape; here at Camel we like to keep it simple, they are either domes or long domes.
